At My Young Mind School, we provide a therapeutic online learning environment for students who are struggling to attend or engage with traditional school due to anxiety, emotional distress, or social and mental health challenges.

We work in partnership with schools, local authorities, and SEND teams to ensure every child continues to learn, grow, and recover — at their own pace and in a way that feels safe.

Who we support

  • Students with anxiety, school refusal, or emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA)

  • Young people with SEND needs, including those with or awaiting an EHCP

  • Students recovering from trauma, bullying, or long-term absence

  • Pupils who need a bridge back to education following mental health challenges

Our Approach

We combine high-quality teaching with compassionate psychological support, ensuring academic learning and emotional wellbeing go hand in hand.

Therapeutic Education

Every lesson is delivered by wellbeing-informed teachers who understand emotional regulation and the impact of mental health on learning.

Tailored Psychological Support

Each student receives regular 1:1 wellbeing support from a qualified Mental Health Practitioner.

Personalised learning plans

Designed collaboratively with schools and parents, with clear goals and regular progress updates.

Reintegration support

For students ready to return to school, we provide structured reintegration plans and communication with SENCOs and pastoral leads.

How we work with you

Flexible enrollment options: Students can remain on your school roll (dual-registered) or transfer temporarily or permanently.

Termly reports: Schools and parents receive concise academic and wellbeing progress reports.

Safeguarding compliance: Full adherence to national safeguarding and online safety frameworks.

Dedicated liaison: A named contact ensures smooth communication between our team, your staff, and families.
