We combine high-quality education with compassionate psychological support. Students follow a core academic programme — English, Maths, and Science — taught by teachers who understand the importance of emotional safety and connection.
Alongside this, each student receives tailored wellbeing support from qualified Mental Wellbeing Practitioners, who work closely with families to nurture genuine progress and stability.
Our mission
To support anxious and emotionally struggling teens to regain confidence, reconnect with learning, and re-enter life and education with resilience and hope.

Wellbeing First, Always
Where traditional schools start with academics, we start with emotional safety. Every teacher is trained to recognise anxiety, overwhelm, and shutdown — responding with compassion, not pressure. Only when a student feels calm and secure can true learning begin.
Small Groups, Big Connections
We keep classes intentionally small so every child is seen, heard, and valued. This close connection allows teachers to notice subtle shifts — a student smiling again, asking a question, showing interest. Progress here isn’t measured only in grades, but in confidence, engagement, and joy.
Therapy-Aware Teaching
Our teachers understand the impact of anxiety, trauma, and neurodiversity on learning. They adapt lessons with empathy — reducing triggers, allowing breaks, and nurturing self-belief. This creates a space where students feel safe enough to participate and succeed, no matter their starting point.
Partnership With Parents
You’re not left guessing how your child is doing. We share regular updates on both academic progress and emotional wellbeing, so you can see the growth happening beneath the surface — calmer mornings, renewed confidence, a spark of motivation returning.
A Bridge Back to Learning and Life
Our goal isn’t to replace mainstream education forever. We’re here to guide students through recovery — helping them regain resilience, confidence, and readiness for the next step, whether that’s returning to school or continuing their learning journey with us.
A message from our founder
“I founded My Young Mind School because I saw too many teenagers withdrawing from school due to anxiety — bright, sensitive young people who simply needed a safe space to breathe, heal, and learn again. This school is that space: a caring bridge between home and education, where wellbeing comes first and learning follows naturally.”
